It's a home base, not a program. You live at a co-living collective in Hoi An, with a pool, gym, coworking, and a yoga studio on site, and the beach right across a small street. Rooms work for couples, and the two and three-bedroom apartments give the whole family room to spread out. It's about 25 minutes by motorbike (35 by car) from Da Nang, so we pop in and out for events while family life stays in Hoi An.

Around you is a vibrant worldschooling community with activities and classes six days a week, à la carte, if you want structure. And when you want camp days for the children, the Hoi An Vibes summer camp runs nearby, separate from our own programming. Message us for current availability and the full price list.

Some of your people are already here. Other worldschooling families are staying at the collective, so you're walking into a community, not an empty apartment.

A founding explorer trip through Japan

Edventures Japan Trip

Founding explorer trip, September 2026

The Edventures team spends September in Japan: Tokyo as home base, an Osaka side quest, and a hackathon finale. Come say hello.

The team is in Japan for September. For one month, September 1 to 30, 2026, the Edventures team and founding families explore Japan from a Tokyo home base. Mid-month there is a four-day side quest to Osaka, September 14 to 17, landing in the middle of a digital nomad and startup festival that fills the city with builders, with Kyoto and Nara a short hop away.

Back in Tokyo, the month builds to a global hackathon weekend, September 25 to 27, that families can enter at any age (our own children have competed at these before), and closes with a few days outdoors. If you are a worldschooling family in Japan, or passing through, this is a chance to meet the team, share an event with us, and hear about the seasons and home bases coming for the community.

Nothing to sign up for. An explorer trip is the team on the road: message us, we will tell you where we are gathering, and you can drop in and say hello.

For your teen, wherever you already are

The 2026–2027 cohort begins in September

A global accelerator for ambitious teens. No travel required.

This is not a travel program. TKS happens in your backyard or on your screen. Teens join an in-person hub in one of six cities, Vancouver, Toronto, Calgary, New York, San Francisco, or Dubai, or attend 100% online from anywhere in the world. Sessions run on weekends or weekday evenings, so it fits around how your family already learns, whether that is a homeschool rhythm at home or a season abroad.

Over 10 months, from September 2026 to June 2027, students ages 13–17 spend three hours a week in live sessions plus project time, working on real problems with mentors and a cohort of peers who take their ambitions seriously. It is the kind of environment that turns curious teenagers into confident, innovative, flexible thinkers, and global citizens.

5,500+ students across 80+ countries. Alumni have launched startups, published research, and worked with organizations like OpenAI, NASA, and the UN.

For the whole family, on the beach in Goa

Edge City India

Applications are open now

Three weeks in a popup village on Mandrem Beach. This one is the adventure.

The Circle, beach-facing coworking

Mandrem Beach, North Goa

Mornings at the village

This is the travel program. For three weeks, October 11 to November 1, 2026, Edge City sets up a popup village on Mandrem Beach in the quieter stretch of North Goa, with The Circle, a beach-facing coworking hub, at its center. Hundreds of founders, builders, researchers, scientists, and creatives live, work, and build together, with the beach as the commons.

It is multigenerational and family-friendly by design. Partners, children, and grandparents are all welcome, which is exactly why we chose it, and Edge Tomorrow, the village's creative program for children and teens, is confirmed for the India edition: ages 4 to 13 in a project environment of their own, teens 14 to 17 in leadership roles. Your children grow up around people building the future while you work, learn, and rest somewhere genuinely beautiful. This is worldschooling at its best: the whole family immersed, together.

Nine popup villages since 2023, more than 12,000 builders. Edge City has done this before, and it keeps getting better.

Our next home base. A whitewashed garden villa with a pool sits a short walk from a quiet beach at Mirissa, the small town on Sri Lanka's south coast where whales pass offshore. Breakfast and dinner are served daily, and every adult gets Ârc coworking membership at a community space four minutes on foot from the villa, included in the residency.

The Edventures Mirissa Season runs November 1 to January 15, with our children's programming for ages 8 to 15, Monday to Thursday, 10am to 3pm, plus one field trip every week: whale watching, Galle Fort, tea country, safari. Surf lessons and Sri Lankan arts run each week too. We are still finalizing rates for the founding cohort, so get in touch and we will walk you through the details.

Two rooms left. One family room and one double remain.

Our family programming, March 2026

This is our own hub. For three months, March to May 2027, a small cohort of worldschooling families lives nearby and learns together in Hoi An, Vietnam. Children ages 8 to 15 spend balanced days of structured work, hands-on projects with local makers, nature, art, body practice, and free play, while parents work from shaded workspaces and find their people over one long lunch table. Younger siblings are welcome alongside the family.

Home base is a family-friendly resort with a pool, gardens, and room to roam, minutes from the old town, the river, and the beach. Register interest and you will see season pricing, the detailed program, and registration before anyone else. No deposit, no obligation.

This one is ours. We ran our own family programming this March and watched the rhythm work: real makers, long shared lunches, fast friendships. The Hoi An Season is the next iteration.

A hub day, at a glance

  1. 9:00

Arrival and morning movement on the grass. Tai chi, stretching, still-waking-up children welcome.

  2. 10:00

Project block with a real maker: leather-working one week, sewing, music, or code the next.

  3. 12:30

Lunch together at one long table. Fresh, local, unhurried.

  4. 14:30

Water time and free play. The pool, the garden, a card game in the shade.

  5. 16:00

Pickup. Or nobody leaves, and it becomes dinner plans.
