What was on site
It was a small, green resort of apartments and rooms wrapped around a pool. The everyday bits families would normally have to sort out were already taken care of.

For parents
There was coworking, fast WiFi, a gym open 7am to 7pm, and a yoga studio. Da Nang and its events were a short ride away.
For a change of scene, Hub Hoi An is a coworking space nearby.
For children
A pool to swim in, the beach right across the street, and other worldschooling children to run around with. For more structure, the community ran activities and classes six days a week, and there were camp days close by.

Room to spread out, or keep it simple
A deluxe room suited a couple, with a pool or ocean view. The two and three-bedroom apartments gave a whole family a kitchen, a living room, and room to breathe. Every stay came with seasonal fruit, herbal tea, and filtered water, and the longer the stay, the better the nightly rate.

Community and camp days
Some families came just for the base and the community. Others wanted full days for the children.
An à la carte community
Hoi An has a lively worldschooling community with activities and classes six days a week, organized outside of Edventures by the families who live there. Our cohort joined whatever suited their family and skipped the rest.
Camp days, if you want them
The Hoi An Vibes summer camp filled full days for children ages 6 to 14, with two meals, workshops, and weekly excursions. It was run by another lovely worldschooling family, close by, and was separate from anything we ran.

About the August 2026 stay
A short record of how the stay worked. Our next Hoi An stay is the Season, March to May 2027.
The collective is in Hoi An, on a small street with the beach directly across it and the old town a few minutes away. Da Nang is about 25 minutes by motorbike or 35 by car.
Co-living is a shared home base: shared spaces and accommodations at a hotel or collective, with community around you and no scheduled program. A season is a term that includes our programming for children, typically 3 to 4 days a week, roughly 9 or 10am to 3 or 4pm.
