Rooms and apartments
Room to spread out, or keep it simple
A deluxe room is lovely for a couple, with a pool or ocean view. The two and three-bedroom apartments give the whole family a kitchen, a living room, and room to breathe. Every stay comes with seasonal fruit, herbal tea, and filtered water, and the longer you stay, the better the nightly rate.

As much programming as you want
Some families come just for the base and the community. Others want full days for the children. Either way works here.
An à la carte community
Hoi An has a lively worldschooling community with activities and classes six days a week, organized outside of Edventures by the families who live here. It's open to families staying two months or more. Join whatever suits your family and skip the rest. There's nothing to sign up for.
Camp days, if you want them
The Hoi An Vibes summer camp fills full days for children ages 6 to 14, from $620 a month, with two meals, workshops, and weekly excursions. It's run by another lovely worldschooling family, close by, and it's separate from anything we run.
See the campAnd the rest of Hoi An
Farms, lantern and pottery workshops, the bamboo circus, a water park for rainy days. We keep a running list of what families here mention. We haven't been to them yet, so it's labelled as exactly that.
Questions families ask before they come
The answers we usually give over WhatsApp, in one place. Anything we haven't covered, just ask.
We're in Hoi An, on a small street with the beach directly across it and the old town a few minutes away. Da Nang is about 25 minutes by motorbike or 35 by car, so slipping in for an event or an airport run is easy. If you'll be working from a Da Nang coworking space most days, count on roughly half an hour each way.
Co-living is a shared home base: shared spaces and accommodations at a hotel or collective, with community around you and no scheduled program. A season is a term that includes our programming for children, typically 3 to 4 days a week, roughly 9 or 10am to 3 or 4pm.
A pool, a gym open 7am to 7pm, coworking with fast WiFi, and a yoga studio, all inside a small green resort of rooms and apartments. Every stay comes with seasonal fruit, herbal tea, and filtered water. If you want a change of scene for work, Hub Hoi An is a lovely coworking space nearby.
Rooms and apartments go by the night, and the rate steps down the longer you stay: one rate from 5 nights, a better one from 10. The list on this page shows both, per room. Message us with your dates and who's coming, and we'll match you to the right room, tell you what's free, and arrange the housing for you.
Not for the housing, and not for the camp. Rooms go by the night, with better rates from 5 nights and better still from 10, and camp is booked one week at a time. The only thing here with a minimum is the long-term community chat, which asks families to be in Hoi An for two months or more.
The founding cohort gathers August 1 to 31, 2026, and that's the month we'd love to have you. If your dates fall outside it, message us anyway with what you're planning, and we'll tell you what's open and what a stay would run.
As much or as little structure as you want. The worldschooling community here runs activities and classes six days a week, and a summer camp close by fills full days for children ages 6 to 14. Around all of that: a pool to swim in, the beach across the street, and other worldschooling children to run around with most afternoons.
It's one of the warmest we've found, and it runs on two chats. One is open and easy to join, where families post what they're doing that week rather than working from a fixed schedule. The other is organized for families staying longer, with a calendar of à la carte classes all week. Tell us your dates and we'll point you to whichever one fits, and add you in.
So it stays a community rather than a revolving door. It's organized outside of Edventures by a mother who lives here and does all of it for free, and she's firm about tenure and about the ages each activity is meant for. Families staying two months or more get the shared class spreadsheet. For a shorter trip, the open chat, camp, and our own outings still fill a week nicely.
Hoi An Vibes is a summer camp for children ages 6 to 14, run by another worldschooling family close by, and it's separate from anything we run. Full days of workshops, sports, and nature, two meals, and a weekly excursion, from $620 for the month. It's open to anyone with no minimum stay, and we're glad to introduce you to the directors.
Worldschooling families, mostly. Some come for a month, some have made Hoi An their base for the year, and a few keep one foot in Da Nang for work and events. Parents in the coworking through the morning, children of every age around the pool by the afternoon.
There's a community dinner most Fridays at a spot by the beach, and Hít Hà Cafe is the standing favorite: there are almost always other families and children there. Say the word and we'll bring you to the next dinner, so you know faces in your first week.
We gather the founding cohort, arrange your housing, and make the introductions that would otherwise take you a month of asking around: the community chats, the camp directors, the families worth knowing. We also set up a field trip on Fridays. A recent one took the tween girls to the hot springs water park, which is beautifully done, even for the parents.
Four WhatsApp communities and more Facebook groups than any parent can keep up with, which is a good part of why we built Edventures. We filter all of it and hand you the two or three that fit your family, so landing somewhere new doesn't cost you a month of figuring it out.
