International conference questions
What parents ask when they look beyond the US.
Yes. The Global Home Education Conference (GHEC), run by the Global Home Education Exchange, meets in Manila, Philippines, March 3 to 6, 2027. In Europe, the Homeschooling Europe Conference brings families together in a different country each year. Several online summits also draw home educators from around the world.
Canada has the fullest calendar on this list, with provincial conventions in Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and New Brunswick, mostly between February and June. The UK, Europe, Australia, and South Africa run smaller one-day conferences and expos.
The online summits work from anywhere with a good connection. For in-person events, check the organizer's registration page before you plan travel around a date, since many publish details only a few months ahead.
